Chipmunks Scurry Sticker Book
Scouting America Chipmunks is a pilot preschool program for children aged 4 and 5. Families meet weekly in a small group called a Scurry. There are no ranks, badges or advancement. Instead, each child collects stickers in a sticker book. MySummitKeep follows that: the Sticker Book records stickers and nothing more. It is never shown as a rank, and it is never part of exports, analytics, official reports or a Court of Honor.
The Sticker Book appears in the sidebar only for a Scurry. The Scurry Coordinator (the parent who leads the Scurry) can award and take back stickers. Parents read their own child’s book (see Chipmunks Sticker Book for parents).
The eight weekly themes
Section titled “The eight weekly themes”Each week has a theme, and each theme has a forest friend:
| Theme | Forest friend |
|---|---|
| Citizenship & Multicultural | Cyrus the Squirrel |
| Problem Solving | Ruby the Rabbit |
| Adventure | Remy the Raccoon |
| Friendship & Teamwork | Dawn the Deer |
| S.T.E.M. | Sebastian the Skunk |
| Outdoor Skills | Max the Moose |
| Creativity | Heidi the Hedgehog |
| Music & Movement | Bella the Bluebird |
Sources: the Pine Tree Council Chipmunks brochure and the Scouting America New Programs Update deck (March 2026). Cyrus is spelled the way Scouting America’s On Scouting spells it; the Pine Tree brochure spells it “Syrus”. MySummitKeep uses text only and never uses Scouting America artwork.
Awarding stickers each week
Section titled “Awarding stickers each week”Open Sticker Book and stay on This Week. The grid has one row per child and one column per activity for the week’s theme:
- Weekly: the theme’s weekly sticker.
- Helper: the helper sticker, for a parent or child who helped that week.
- At Home: the sticker for the theme’s at-home project.
Tap a cell to award a sticker. The star fills in at once. Tap it again to take it back if you tapped the wrong child. A child can earn each sticker once. Use the theme picker to open another week’s grid.
Every child shown holds a seat in your Scurry. A child must have a date of birth that puts them at age 4 or older before they can be seated.
Planning the themes and adding weekly meetings
Section titled “Planning the themes and adding weekly meetings”Choose Theme Planner to see the eight themes in order with their forest friends, the next meeting for each, and an Up Next marker for the theme that follows the last meeting you held.
Under Add Weekly Meetings, pick the first meeting’s date and time, how many weeks (the default is 32) and a place. MySummitKeep adds one meeting a week, an hour long, and cycles through the eight themes, starting again from the first after the eighth. Running it again for the same weeks never double-books them. The meetings are ordinary calendar events, so the parent rota works as it does everywhere else: each meeting offers Snack Parent, Setup Parent and Story Reader roles for parents to take turns.
Your Scurry’s own activities
Section titled “Your Scurry’s own activities”Under Add Your Own Activity, add an activity of your own. Pick the kind (Weekly, Helper or At Home) and a theme. Leave the theme as Its own week to add a whole custom week, such as a pumpkin patch visit. Your activities show only in your Scurry. Activities that came with the program stay as they are.
